Brand new home with modern Australian style

History of the pool
The construction of this new concrete swimming pool was complex. The footing of the house rested on the edge beam of the swimming pool. This required special engineering. Approximately 4 tonnes of steel was used in the construction of this pool.

Client brief
The client required a pool with a sunken bar and bar stools in the pool. The pool is also fully tiled with an integrated spa, all of which its remotely controlled using state of the art technology. The design of the pool met the brief for a flowing outdoor entertainment area, including outdoor kitchen, water features, fireplace and patio areas. The client also requested an outdoor shower along side the pool area.

Construction
The construction of a concrete steel reinforced pool met the brief for this client. The fully tiled interior of the swimming pool facilitates easy maintenance and cleaning as well as a superior high gloss finish.  The equipment is all high grade Viron equipment as only the best would do. The water feature cascades under the deck and back into the pool. This creates a unique interest and the impression of the water flowing from an unknown source.  This pool also has gas heating via a Viron 350. It has aqua quip LED lighting. The flooring is a combination of decking, honed concrete and Ecostone Grey Travertine tiles. The water feature has special LED down lights adding ambiance to the pool area.

The sunk bar is a brilliant resort style addition including bar stools in the pool for seating around the bar serving counter.
