New pool with fully tiled spa
History of the pool
We designed this new pool to fit near the entertainment area of the house, enabling us to retain most of the garden. This resulted in creating a large space with lots of room for playing on the lawn, swimming in the pool or entertaining. The beautiful water feature adds to a stylish evening ambience. This water feature creates a focal point without using premium space and also served as a privacy screen from neighbours. The design concept incorporated using natural stone, jarrah wood decking with mood lighting.
Client brief
The owners wanted to create a stylish, useable, ultimate outdoor lifestyle area. Part of the challenge was using as little of the block as possible for the concrete pool and fully tiled spa. The clients wanted to retain a large lawn area for their grand children to enjoy and a golf putting green for the adults.

Construction
The construction of a concrete steel reinforced pool with built in spa and large step area for the grand children to play on, met the brief for this client. The fully tiled interior of the spa pool and large step area facilitates easy maintenance and cleaning as well as a luxurious high gloss finish. The equipment is all high grade Viron equipment. The water feature cascades back into the pool via three spouts. The cut out water feature art piece is lite by natural light during the day. At night it is transformed by multi-coloured LED lights that change gradually. This creates a unique feature that offers something special and different both day and night.
Materials
Formwork, steel fixing, and concrete spraying were achieved on time and on budget.
Bull nose coping – Limestone
Waterline tile – Glass Pool Mosaics
Surround – Limestone paving.
Water Feature – We used Travertine tiles with custom made artwork.
All plumbing is remotely controlled.
Lighting- Remote controlled Aqua Quip (LED)
Plaster- Rainbow quartz capri blue.
Pool heating- Viron gas heater with solar supplement.
Filtration- Hurlcon Cx series.
Sanitation- Rola chem. Chemical dispenser.
